![]() The reason why i am posting this about kaplan is not because i'm only thinking that its a complete waste of time but because the whole class taking it with me feels that way. AMBOSS is a bit more challenging in questions but its pretty good. If you have time, you can also try AMBOSS. USMLE Rx is very good as well for questions. Spend your money on UFAP, sketchy, boards and beyond. Some of the information they give you is not even brought up on FA. I am learning and improving way more by doing questions and going over FA myself. They will teach you about a condition and give you questions on the most low yield concept of that particular condition. ![]() The lectures are extremely long and time consuming. They are more focused on covering all the material rather than actually teaching the material. The material is very dense, the professors rush through everything and expect you to catch up on all the material that was covered. I used it for a few months during my second year of med school and I can really say that the questions are a little bit more difficult. ![]() In terms of grades, I would probably give it around a B to maybe a B+. I highly suggest not taking a kaplan course for step. So, while USMLE Rx is probably a little bit easier than the natural exam, Kaplan is a little tougher than the actual Step 1 exam. I was forced to take kaplan online course as a requirement for my school to prepare for step 1. ![]()
